In 2007, Full Frame turns 10. We’re so excited that we’re starting the celebration early. A commemorative nine-week film series at The Carolina Theatre in Durham starts on February 7th. Each week we’ll feature the Grand Jury Award Winners from the past nine years. The Grand Jury Award is Full Frame’s most prestigious recognition, presented each year to the festival’s best film (or two).

It’s Full Frame’s way of paying a tribute to our local community, which has made the annual Durham event the premiere documentary film festival in the nation. Each April, we bring filmmakers and film lovers from all over the globe together in downtown Durham. In the weeks building up our tenth anniversary festival, we want to give our local audience a special opportunity to watch some of the best documentaries of the past decade.

This year promises to be Full Frame’s most electrifying festival yet. But you don’t have to wait until April. Join us each week at The Carolina. We promise to touch your heart, shake your senses, and stimulate your mind. Documentaries can do all that…and more.
