Day of Show Tickets: Available at the Festival

What is a Day of Show Ticket?

Day of Show Tickets are Individual Tickets made available the day a program screens. For example, Day of Show tickets for all programs screening on Thursday, April 3, 2008, go on sale when the Main Box Office opens on Thursday morning.

The number of Day of Show Tickets available is limited and these tickets can sell fast. For the best chance to get tickets to the most popular programs, we recommend you come to the Main Box Office early.

How Do I Get One?

Day of Show Tickets are sold at The Main Box Office. The Main Box Office will be located in the Durham Armory and open at 8 AM every day of the Festival. Please refer to the Venues & Services section of the website for more information.

No more than eight tickets can be purchased per program. Day of Show Tickets are $10. Day of Show tickets can be purchased with cash, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. There is a 99 cent convenience fee if you use a credit card.

Day of Show Tickets are available at the Main Box Office until they sell out or 15 minutes before the start of a program, whichever come first. At 15 minutes before the start of a program only Last Minute Tickets will be available at the Last Minute Line at the screening venue.

Are discounted Individual Tickets available?

There are two types of discounted Day of Show Tickets available for 2008:

Duke Affiliation Discount
If you present a Duke ID you can purchase Day of Show Tickets for all Sunday programs after the Awards Ceremony & Southern Style BBQ for $8.
Student Discounted Day of Show Tickets
Student discounted Day of Show Tickets are available for those who present a current, valid student ID. The student discount is good for general film programming, but does not apply to Premium Events, such as the Opening Night film, Center Frame programs, and “An Evening With…” programs. These tickets are $8 per ticket.
