2008. USA. 88 mins. Directed by Hart Perry, Richard Lowe. Produced by Hart Perry, Richard Lowe.

The filmmaking team that brought us The Drug Years offers an in-depth examination of the sexual revolution of the 1960s and ’70s. A powerful soundtrack enlivens a wealth of archival footage, and a vast array of commentators—Gloria Steinem, Martin Torgoff, Erica Jong, and Hugh Hefner, among many others—paint a detailed portrait of the rapidly changing times. Divided into four parts, the film moves quickly though monumental events, from the advent of the Pill to the 1969 Stonewall Riots to the astonishing popularity of Deep Throat to Viagra. This screening will feature Part 2 and Part 3 of the series.
