Spalding Gray made a living from revealing himself. More than two decades of his comic, tragic, and everything-in-between revelations are assembled here, allowing the viewer even more access to the notoriously candid writer and performer. Cumulative and unconventional in its form and impact, And Everything is Going Fine is a portrait of an artist finding his life’s work as well as his work’s life. Collaborator and friend Steven Soderbergh honors the monologist’s literally storied career with a fitting tribute comprised of excerpts and interviews that further reveal the varied shades of Gray.  TM
