Full Frame Documentary Film Festival to Hire New Executive Director

Durham, N.C., - August 4, 2009 - The Full Frame Documentary Film Festival announces their search for a new Executive Director. The new Director will replace Peg Palmer, who stepped down from the position at the end of June and will be joining the festival’s Board of Directors.

The festival enjoys strong support from industry leaders like HBO and A&E, as well as local sponsors such as Capitol Broadcasting and American Tobacco Campus. Full Frame also maintains a close association with the Center for Documentary Studies and presenting sponsor, Duke University.

“We look forward to identifying a dynamic leader,” remarked Dan Berman, Chairman of the festival’s Board, “one who fully appreciates Full Frame’s longstanding success, and who will develop new and exciting ways of growing the festival’s stellar reputation.”

Tom Rankin, Director of the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University and Full Frame Board member, is leading the search committee.
