The 13th annual Full Frame Documentary Film Festival is an international event dedicated to the theatrical exhibition of non-fiction cinema. Each spring Full Frame welcomes filmmakers and film lovers from around the world to historic downtown Durham, North Carolina for a four-day, morning to midnight array of over 100 films as well as discussions, panels, and southern hospitality.

Set within a four-block radius, the intimate festival landscape fosters community and conversation between filmmakers, film professionals and the public. Click below for venues, locations and hours of operation for the 2010 festival.

Festival Venues

Durham Armory 220 Foster Street

Main Box Office
THU-SUN 9am – 10pm
The Main Box Office provides tickets to purchasers, as well as Festival Passholders and Film Passholders. Tickets will be available in the Main Box Office until 15 minutes before the start of each program, at which time only Last Minute Tickets will be available at the screening venue. Festival programs can also be purchased in the Main Box Office. The Main Box Office accepts Visa/Mastercard/American Express/Discover. The Last Minute Lines are Cash Only.

Priority Box Office

THU-SUN 9am – 10pm
The Priority Box Office provides tickets to Preservation Passholders and Priority Passholders. Priority Tickets will be available in the Priority Box Office for every screening of the festival until 15 minutes before the start of each program, at which time only Last Minute Tickets will be available at the screening venue.

Registration / Information Center (RIC)
THU-SUN 9am – 10pm
The RIC is located in the Durham Armory. This indoor plaza is where passes are picked up (ID required). Filmmakers and Special Guests can contact festival staff for travel and accommodation information in the RIC, and sponsors and members also have access to festival services here.

Information

THU-SUN 9am – 10pm
The Information Desk is where you can receive general information about the festival, learn more about the event schedule or pass benefits, and find maps and recommendations for local sites and restaurants. Festival programs and merchandise can be purchased at the Information Desk (Visa/Mastercard accepted). New this year - Print On Demand shirts by LabourLove Gallery.

Armory Café
THU-SUN 8:30am – 4pm
Saladelia offers fresh pastries and coffee, salads, sandwiches and other refreshments in the Durham Armory daily.



Carolina Theatre 309 West Morgan Street

Hospitality Suite
THU-SUN 9am – 7pm
Located on the second floor of the Carolina Theatre in the Connie Moses Ballroom, the Hospitality Suite provides refreshments and light fare to Preservation, Priority and Press Passholders.

Press Lounge
THU-SUN 9am – 9pm
The Press Lounge, located in the Carolina Theatre’s Upper Balcony Lounge, is where members of the press register for passes, inquire about press availabilities, and contact festival staff. Interviews can also be conducted in the Press Lounge, and Filmmakers and Special Guests can use Industry Mailboxes located here.



Civic Center Plaza Corner of Foster and Morgan Streets

Plaza Concessions
THU-SUN 11am – 9pm
Located at the heart of the festival between the Armory, Marriott Convention Center and Carolina Theatre, The Plaza is where Giorgio Bakatsias creates an outdoor café, grilling Mediterranean specialties and exotic foods, as well as offering sandwiches, sweets, beer, and wine. The Plaza is open for lunch and dinner daily, with Full Frame's traditional barbecue and The Southern String Band on Sunday. Carolina Cappuccino also offers gourmet coffee, homemade smoothies, and snacks on the plaza daily. The Plaza is also home to seating lines for Fletcher Hall performances.



American Tobacco Campus 318 Blackwell Street

Home to the Opening Night Party and Awards Brunch, as well as Full Frame’s year-round office, this restored tobacco warehouse has four restaurants to choose from with everything from sushi to pizza to burgers and Saladelia’s sandwiches, salads and smoothies.
