Where can I learn more about Full Frame?

How do journalists receive a Press Pass?

New and returning members of the Press must complete the online 2017 Press Pass Application on or before February 24. Applicants will receive an email in early March 2017 with the status of their application in addition to further press information, including pass and ticket instructions. Press Passes are limited by number, not everyone who applies will be awarded a Pass. Receipt of a Press Pass in previous years in no way guarantees receipt of a Press Pass for the 2017 Festival.

When will members of the Press know if their application has been approved?

Applicants can expect to receive an e-mail from the Full Frame Press Coordinator in early March 2017. A Press Pass confirmation e-mail will include details for acquiring passes, reserving tickets and other important information.

What Does a Press Pass Provide?

A Press Pass provides:

  • 10 tickets (1 ticket per passholder per event), good for any film or event including the Opening Night Party and Awards Barbecue
  • Access to the Hospitality Suite
  • Access to the Press Lounge

How much does a Press Pass cost?

A Press Pass is offered at no charge to members of the Press whose Press Pass Application is approved.

Where can I find a festival schedule?

Full Frame’s 2017 Film Schedule will be announced in mid-March 2017.

Can I reserve tickets in advance?

Yes. A Press Pass enables you to reserve up to 10 tickets (1 ticket per passholder per event) for any film or event including the Opening Night Party and Awards Barbecue, provides free access to Speakeasy conversations and unlimited access through the Last Minute Line. Tickets you reserve will be included in your Press Packet. Unreserved tickets can be acquired in the Box Office during the festival.

Where is the Press Lounge located and what are its hours?

The festival’s Press Lounge is located in the Donor Lounge (3rd floor) of the Carolina Theatre. Hours of operation: (Apr 6–9) THU-SAT 9AM–7PM, SUN 9AM–5PM.

Where and when can I pick up my Press Pass?

Members of the Press pick up their passes in the Press Lounge during open hours, which is also where one can arrange for interview requests and meet Full Frame Press staff. Once your Press Pass Application is approved, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Print and bring the e-mail with you to the Press Lounge to acquire your Press Pass.
