As the Triangle region becomes a hub for nonfiction film, many documentary makers—both those originally from the South and elsewhere—wonder how they can maintain a livelihood while pursuing their profession. This discussion with local funders and employers explores the many ways that filmmakers can monetize their skillsets while working on their own documentaries.
