We are no longer accepting press pass applications for Full Frame 2019.
Press passes are issued by publication and are transferable, meaning they can be used by more than one person in each organization. Each publication will designate a primary contact; this person will be responsible for coordinating ticket redemption during the allotted window , beginning March 22, for all attending press for that organization. The primary contact will receive detailed instructions about this process prior to redeeming tickets.
Publications can apply for an allotment of 5, 10, or 20 film tickets and up to three transferable passes per publication. Transferable passes offer the opportunity to create a flexible and customized festival experience.
Please note that each organization should apply for the maximum number of passes that it will need on the festival landscape at any given time. For instance, if your organization intends to have five people covering the festival, with three individuals dispatched to films each day, then the appropriate number of transferable passes is three.

Press Pass FAQ
Q: How do journalists receive a press pass?
A: New and returning members of the Press must complete the online press pass application between February 1 and 15, 2019. Applicants will receive an email no later than February 20 with the status of their application in addition to further press information, including pass and ticket instructions. Press Passes are limited by number, and unfortunately not everyone who applies will be awarded a pass. Receipt of a press pass in previous years in no way guarantees receipt of a press pass for the 2019 Festival.
Q: What if I am covering the festival for multiple outlets?
A: We welcome freelancers and independent journalists to apply for the press pass. Please select one publication for the credential, and list additional publication(s) on the application.
Q: Does previous coverage influence whether or not I will receive a press pass?
A: Yes. If you have attended Full Frame with a press pass in previous years, published articles and coverage will be taken into consideration when determining press pass allotment.
Q: When will members of the Press know if their application has been approved?
A: Applicants can expect to receive an e-mail from the Full Frame Press Coordinator no later than February 20, 2019. A press pass confirmation e-mail will include details for acquiring passes, reserving tickets and other important information.
Q: What does a press pass provide?
A: 5, 10, or 20 tickets, which may be redeemed for any film. Press credentials are issued by outlet (rather than individual) and passes will be transferrable. Press credentials provide access to the Hospitality Suite and the Press Lounge. Travel and accommodations are not included with a press pass.
Q: How much does a press pass cost?
A: A Press Pass is offered at no charge to members of the press whose press pass application is approved.

Q: Can I reserve tickets in advance?
A: Yes, and you are highly encouraged to do so. A press pass enables you to reserve up to 5, 10, or 20 tickets for any film and provides unlimited access through the Last Minute Line. Tickets you reserve will be included in your press packet, which will be available for pick up in the press lounge. Unreserved tickets can be acquired in the Box Office during the festival.

Q: Where is the Press Lounge located and what are its hours?
A: The festival’s Press Lounge is located in the Donor Lounge (3rd floor) of the Carolina Theatre. Hours of operation will be THUR – SAT 9 am – 7 pm and SUN 9 am – 5 pm.
Q: Where and when can I pick up my Press Pass?
A: Members of the press pick up their passes in Festival Headquarters during open hours. Once your press pass application is approved, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Print and bring the e-mail with you to the festival to acquire your Press Pass.
