    Press FAQ

Q: How do journalists attend the festival?
A: New and returning members of the Press must complete an online press accreditation application. Applicants will receive an email no later than March 6 with the status of their application in addition to further press information. Press accreditation is limited by number, and unfortunately not everyone who applies will receive accreditation. Receipt of a press pass in previous years in no way guarantees receipt of press accreditation for the 2020 festival.

Q: How much does a Press Pass cost?
A: A $50 fee for press passes will be required, which will grant access to six films, interviews with filmmakers (as available), and additional opportunities to thoroughly cover the event. A limited number of comped passes may be distributed.

Q: What if I am covering the festival for multiple outlets?
A: We welcome freelancers and independent journalists to apply for the press accreditation. Please select one publication for the credential, and list additional publication(s) on the application.

Q: Does previous coverage influence whether or not I will receive a press pass?
A: Yes. If you have attended Full Frame with a press pass in previous years, published articles and coverage will be taken into consideration when determining press accreditation allotment.

Q: When will members of the Press know if their application has been approved?
A: Applicants can expect to receive an e-mail no later than March 6, 2020. Press accreditation confirmation e-mail will include festival access details.

Q: Where can I find a festival schedule?
A: Full Frame’s 2020 Film Schedule will be announced on March 12, 2020.

Q: Where can I learn more about Full Frame?
A: Full Frame logos, images, videos, and press kit are available on the Media + Press Kit page.

Q: How do I request interviews with filmmakers or film subjects?
A: For setting up interviews with the filmmakers or film subjects, please email
