This searing look at the abuses perpetrated against these women, mostly Muslim and many professionals, is rendered directly and gratuitously. Jadranka allows the filmmakers and viewers access to her inner hell, and it is clear that in doing so she is not only cleansing herself but helping mankind purge itself of its continued crimes against women.
