Can Memory Be Dissolved in Evian Water?
NEW DOCS
Can one’s nerves be relaxed by two weeks of water treatment? In reparation for World War II, the Germans established a program to finance Holocaust survivors to attend the Evian spa. Drinking the water, receiving massages, and listening to music—it’s all part of the cure for Solange Najman, who visits the spa every other year to calm her nerves. Her son poignantly captures her stories and those of other survivors in attendance at the spa.
