George Stoney, notable documentarian, investigates Robert Flaherty’s film and returns to the island of Aran to record the process and result of Flaherty’s work. He and his crew look at how Flaherty constructed locations to satisfy his vision and interview islanders who argue about the reality of Man of Aran’s presentation.
