The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg

NEW DOCS

This film tells the story of Hank Greenberg’s struggle to become the first Jewish man to play Major League Baseball in the 1930’s. Through historical footage and interviews with Greenberg’s family, friends, and teammates, this film offers a look at a struggle akin to that experienced by Jackie Robinson when he broke the color barrier in baseball a decade later.
