I Could Have Been Human
NEW DOCS
Trapped within the interstices of the past and the future, there are present days of hoping, dreaming, and waiting. I Could Have Been Human chronicles the monotonous, lonely days of a community of vagabonds, vegetating and scavenging for survival in a Polish coal dump. Waiting for coal, dreaming of their futures, and hoping for a better life, the days drag on in despair for these men and women in a Sisyphean way: There is no escape. “So why not dance this waltz once again, one last time…”
