Ralph Bunche: An American Odyssey

NEW DOCS

Often referred to as “Mr. UN,” Dr. Ralph Bunche was the ultimate diplomat and peacemaker. The first African American to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1950, Ralph Bunche was widely recognized as the leading expert on Africa and colonial affairs. He always believed that conflict could be resolved through negotiation without resorting to the use of force. This documentary covers the life of this great man and is a reminder of the important work he did for over twenty years to achieve international peace.  RW
