Pinocchio, Schnozola, Sir Nose… Charles grows up to be clearly self-conscious of his prominent Italian nose. Still, he was shocked when one of the teachers at the ballet academy asked him to consider plastic surgery to forward his career. Of course, in ballet, as in life, there are no guarantees as to whether it’ll land him a starring role. Told entirely in animation, the hand drawings that illustrate this short, delightful film creatively interpret a ballet dancer’s hilarious tale of attending to the rigid standards of perfection in the ballet academy.  SW
