Accessibility

All screening and event venues are accessible via ramp or elevators, offer wheelchair seating or areas for viewing, and have accessible restrooms. We encourage those in need of wheelchair spaces, seating assistance, or listening devices to arrive early and ask for the venue manager on duty.

    Seating

All of our screening venues have stadium seating and wheelchair spaces available. Wheelchair spaces are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. Attendees requiring a wheelchair space or seating assistance should speak to the venue manager as soon as they arrive at the theater. We encourage you to arrive early. Seating for our screening venues begins 30-minutes prior to show time. Elevators, ramps, or separate entrances are available at theaters with entrances that require steps or wheelchair seating on multiple levels.

    Services

    Assistive Listening Devices
Assistive listening devices are available upon request in all major screening venues. This service is not available in Durham Central Park or Motorco Music Hall. Quantities are limited and a valid driver’s license or photo ID may be required for check out. Please see the venue manager on duty for details.

    Closed Caption (CC)
Screening venues located inside the Carolina Theatre offer closed captioning devices. As not all screening venues used are classified as “movie theaters” under Title III of the ADA, other screening venues are not currently required to provide closed movie captioning services. Closed captioning is not available for all films and is developed at the discretion of the filmmaker.

    Subtitles
All foreign-language films at the festival are screened in their original language and English subtitles will be provided. Please note that these films are subtitled or partially subtitled, not closed captioned. Films with subtitles are noted in the film descriptions on our website. Full Frame’s website is mobile-friendly and easily accessible from smartphones.
