Duke Arts Presents 32 Sounds

January 26, 2:00 pm

An audience member in headphones

32 Sounds is an immersive documentary and profound sensory experience from Oscar-nominated documentarian Sam Green that explores the elemental phenomenon of sound. The film is a meditation on the power of sound to bend time, cross borders, and shape our perception of the world around us.

For this live cinematic performance, each audience member will be given headphones to create an incredible binaural sound mix and add a new, deeply immersive element to the live documentary form. Sam Green will narrate the documentary from the stage in front of his projected film. The soundtrack will be composed and performed live at each screening by the legendary DJ/composer JD Samson.

This event is presented with support from Full Frame Documentary Film Festival.
