Nine people with concealed still 35mm cameras sneak into the Ocaranza Psychiatric Institute in Hidalgo, Mexico. The resulting montage of still images, often blurry and/or out of focus, seems always on the verge of movement. Coupled with a matter-of-fact, soft-spoken narration, however, these images present a powerful and horrifying indictment of the treatment of the mentally ill. In less than six minutes, this short film presents some of the most gripping and unforgettable footage that you will ever encounter.  JG
