Thomas Young joined the U.S. Army on September 13, 2001, eager to defend his country. Three years later he was deployed to Iraq and, within a week, shot in the spine by an Iraqi sniper. Body of War follows Young, now in a wheelchair, for a year, as he painfully and courageously transforms himself into an anti-war activist, traversing the country to speak out for peace.
