Body of War

Invited

Thomas Young joined the U.S. Army on September 13, 2001, eager to defend his country. Three years later he was deployed to Iraq and, within a week, shot in the spine by an Iraqi sniper. Body of War follows Young, now in a wheelchair, for a year, as he painfully and courageously transforms himself into an anti-war activist, traversing the country to speak out for peace. With candor, humor, and raw emotion, Young brings home to us the unimaginable struggles, both physical and mental, that face our returning soldiers.
