Buriganga

NEW DOCS

Once used for drinking water and small boat transport, the Buriganga River is now a hotbed of activity, commerce, and pollution. Beautifully shot and crafted, Buriganga explodes with the colors, sounds, and personality of the river that flows through Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. This film gives us an intimate look at those who carve out their days on the river’s edge and on the water itself as well as a sobering view of the environmental impact modern-day use has had on this major waterway.  CS
