Controlled Demolition

NEW DOCS

Quirky and smart, this short film approaches the destruction of two tower blocks in England from all perspectives. One man, forced to leave his home in the tower tells the straight truths of life. A woman worries whether her house, sixty feet away, will come down with the tower. A nearby resident describes the ironic politics of the housing projects. And the man that pushes the button reveals the excitement and nervousness of working with explosives. Each character comes together for the climatic Controlled Demolition.
