Forever
NEW DOCS
Cimetière du Père-Lachaise in Paris is the final resting place of many great artists, writers, and composers, and visitors come daily to bring flowers, tidy up the graves, and pay their respects. Filmmaker Heddy Honigmann observes them and talks to them: a young Korean man studying Proust, a pianist rehearsing pieces by Chopin, an Iranian expatriate appreciating novelist Sadegh Hedayat, a painter expressing his admiration of Modigliani. A lovely celebration of the power of art to move and inspire us forever. AT
