Leap of Faith

Thematic Tolerance Curated by Laurence Kardish

Our society witnesses daily the violence associated with racial and gender intolerance. In Northern Ireland, similar, if not worse, violence rises from differences in religion. Leap of Faith tells the struggle of a handful of Protestants and Catholics who wish to work with each other to teach their children tolerance. Their goal is to create and sustain a religiously integrated primary school. The chronicle of this struggle occurs during the fifteen months leading up to the first ceasefire in twenty-five years.
