Left in Baghdad

NEW DOCS

Assessing the realism of flesh-toned paint isn’t normally a job for a soldier. But Ross Graydon, who has just returned from Baghdad without his left arm, describes himself as “picky” about the look of his new prosthesis. This brief, intimate, and unsentimental film moves from black comedy to tears and back again as it follows Ross, his family, and his two manufactured arms to Kentucky after he is discharged from Walter Reed Hospital.  MP
