This thoughtful and affecting film chronicles the recovery of Jason Crigler, a young musician and father-to-be, after a devastating brain hemorrhage leaves him in a vegetative state. Not content to accept the doctors’ dire prognoses, Jason’s family takes charge of his recovery. We follow them over the course of three years as they tirelessly strive to reactivate Jason’s brain through daily stimulation.
