Off the Menu: The Last Days of Chasen’s
NEW DOCS
This film covers the last few weeks in the life and the closing of Chasen’s in Hollywood and the reactions of the restaurant’s staff and patrons. A controversial and provocative film, Off the Menu produces extreme and quite contradictory responses from many viewers. For some it shows the demise of a deplorable dinosaur. Others see it as an elegy to a once celebrated but now increasingly obsolete way of life.
