This short film begins with people gathered around a table at a warm and inviting dinner party. Marianna Palka has invited her close friends over to share a meal before she discovers what the rest of her life may hold. The following day she is scheduled to receive test results that will reveal whether or not she has the genetic marker for Huntington’s disease. Marianna’s father suffered and eventually died from the ruthless disease, and with grace and self-assuredness, she has bravely decided to find out if she may share his fate.
