Upside Down

NEW DOCS

In May 1941, Rudolf Hess, Hitler’s deputy Führer, decided to fly alone in a small Messerschmitt plane from Germany to Scotland, apparently in a deluded attempt to ask for England’s surrender. The film uses readings from his prison correspondence and impressionistic aerial visuals in a most unusual approach to history.  NK
