Full Frame Alumni Honored with 2026 Peabody Awards

The Full Frame Documentary Film Festival is proud to celebrate three recent Full Frame selections recognized as winners at the 86th annual Peabody Awards, one of the most respected honors in media and storytelling.

This year’s winners include works that connected with Full Frame audiences in Durham and now join an extraordinary group of films recognized for their cultural impact and artistry.

Among the honorees is Come See Me in the Good Light, which screened at Full Frame in 2025 and went on to win the Festival’s Audience Award. Directed by Ryan White, the film was celebrated by both Full Frame audiences and Peabody jurors for its moving portrait of love, creativity, and resilience.

Also recognized is Mr. Nobody Against Putin, another standout selection from the 2025 Festival. The acclaimed documentary follows a Russian schoolteacher’s resistance to state propaganda and offers a powerful reminder of the courage required to stand for truth.

Rounding out the group is the second season of The Rehearsal, which appeared in Full Frame’s 2026 Thematic Program. The series was honored in the entertainment category for its inventive storytelling and singular vision.

Additional recognition came through nominations for several Full Frame 2025 alumni, including The Perfect Neighbor, Predators, The White House Effect, and 2000 Meters to Andriivka, further underscoring the strength of last year’s lineup.

At Full Frame, we are committed to presenting work that reflects the urgency and evolving possibilities of nonfiction storytelling. It is especially meaningful to see recent selections resonate far beyond the festival and receive recognition on one of the industry’s most distinguished stages.

We congratulate all of this year’s Peabody winners and nominees and are honored to have shared these remarkable works with our audience.
