Festival Alums: Nominations and New Films to Stream

    Big news from Full Frame alums continues to add up this November, including noteworthy nominations and assorted documentaries that are now streaming. Continue reading for the whole roundup.

    NOMINATIONS

    MR. NOBODY AGAINST PUTIN (dirs. David Borenstein, Pavel Talankin, Full Frame 2025) has been selected to represent Denmark in the Best International Feature Film category at the 98th Oscars.

    As Russia launches its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, primary schools across Russia’s hinterlands are transformed into recruitment stages for the war. Facing the ethical dilemma of working in a system defined by propaganda and violence, a brave teacher goes undercover to film what’s really happening in his own school.

    Additionally, two Full Frame alums have recently been nominated for the Gotham Film Awards in the “Best Documentary Feature” category:
