First Feature Films at Full Frame 2026

Doctors in masks and scrubs look down at the operating table

At this year’s festival, a number of directors will present their debut features, offering audiences the chance to encounter new voices in documentary filmmaking and engage with artists at an exciting early moment in their work.

First features are where the voice, vision, and craft of a filmmaker come into full view, shaped by years of inquiry, experimentation, and lived experience. These films reflect a wide range of perspectives and approaches, each bringing a distinct point of view to the screen.
